News In Brief	About Us The name "eBowlers" was first created by Lester Chia back in late 1999 when the dot.com. boom was proliferating in the IT industry. On September 1, 2002, Lester formed Elite eBowlers to mark a new "e"ra of bowlers with a fresh focus on the team's objectives and aspirations; where Bowling is our Passion, Friendship our Vision and Winning our Mission ( PFW). Elite eBowlers aspires to be an extended recreational unit of our Working, Family and Social Lives.Family members too become an integral part of team building and bonding with regular participation in team fun bowling and extra curricular activities. Elite eBowlers is a place where we will try to meet the different aspirations and social needs of our bowlers, who come from all walks of life. While some seek friendships, others want to win honors for themselves and the team by winning bowling competitions. To achieve this delicate balance of friendships and winning honors, Elite eBowlers is organized into three different teams to meet this objectives: The Core, The Aspirants and Associates/ Friends. Elite eBowlers believes for a team without honors and aspiration is no team at all. And a team without friendship is a team without a soul. Currently there are 15 active bowlers with an additional of 10 other friends and family members who join us as well on a regular basis . You can find Elite eBowlers practising regularly every Friday night at SAFRA YISHUN where they are based. 	We are Back !! This web site is finally up again after a year ! Since then Elite eBowlers has grown from strength to strength with more than 25 bowlers in 2007. The new bowlers include – suba diver Ben Ng, Clara, Jay Tan and Professor Lee Hian Kiat. Elite eBowlers’ foundation remain unchange : to provide a place for bowlers from all walks of life and aspirations, to compete, to make friends, to learn more about the game or simply just to have fun ! This year’s performance has been excellent especially at Wed’s Safra Yishun , now OCC, League where Elites is now in a strong 2^nd position ahead of top teams like Ice Cream Bowlers and national youth members like Cactus United.. At Planet Bowl, Elite eBowlers experimented with a new team and is gaining experience by leaps and bounce. With fast improving new players like Ben and Hian Kiat, plus the usual suspects, the core of Elites’ bowlers, namely – Richard, Thomas, Man, Jamil, Ryan and Jonathan, this 5-year old team is on its path to greater glory and success. And of course gaining more friends. Great teamwork and passion, the willingness to share knowledge on the game and help one another is what stands out prominently from all other bowling teams. While others look for great players to join their teams, we look for people with a great passion for the game itself. And that’s how we have survived and doing well for the past 5 years and in the years to come. Cheers !
